Right from the start, we have used the canning technique, otherwise known as "appertisation" for our products. Appertisation is a secure process that guarantees product safety.

Thermal treatment

Sealed containers are placed in a sterilizer for thermal treatment at high temperature (from 100°C to 135°C) under pressure. The heat is used to eliminate particularly resistant micro-organisms and toxins thereby ensuring the product’s safety and taste.

Advantages of "Appertisation"

A completely sealed container ensures full protection of the Hénaff products. Appertisation is a great way of preserving the natural qualities of food for years; up to 3 even 4 years!
